Counselling isn’t always the most appropriate form of support. Sometimes you just need some time to ‘offload’ for an hour or two, to give yourself some breathing space to carry on. This can be particularly useful in a short term crisis or if you are not at the point where you can or need to commit to weekly counselling sessions. It can also be useful if you have already had counselling quite recently and would like a ‘top-up.’ They are a chance to get things off your chest and explore your options.
Emotional support sessions range from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, and can take place up to once per month (if you find you need more regular sessions than this, then counselling would be more appropriate).
Fees are charged at the same rate as counselling sessions, with additional time available at £20 per half hour.
